invisible string是目前一個多月以來，folklore裡我最喜歡的一首歌！其實整首歌的概念就是我們華人所說的「姻緣」或說「緣分」，命運冥冥之中將兩個過去從來不曾交集的靈魂牽在一起。在Lover（上一張）專輯裡，我覺得Taylor在描述她與現任男友Joe的感情上比較著重熱戀火花的部分，而folklore裡大多的歌曲是在寫一些小故事，invisible string是難得幾首寫自己的歌之一，裡面描述的從兩人還沒有交集的時候（過去自己在公園裡幻想會遇到對象的憧憬、對方少年時期在優格店打工），寫到兩人開始有交集（對方聽到他的歌、在她喜歡的餐廳吃飯）甚至認識以後一起旅行、對過去的戀情釋懷、帶他重遊故地的種種，我個人覺得歌詞上循序漸進，很有層次，用詞也寫得很美，字句的結構其實很難用中文表達（有點倒裝句的感覺）配樂的部分輕輕柔柔的很舒服。

整首歌裡我很喜歡的歌詞有Time, curious time（時間啊 令人匪夷所思的時間）Gave me no compasses, gave me no signs（從沒給過我任何指引 沒有任何暗示）Were there clues I didn't see?（難道有什麼線索我沒注意到的嗎？）→Time, mystical time（時間啊 神秘的時間）Cutting me open, then healing me fine（把我切開 又將我治癒）Were there clues I didn't see?（難道有什麼線索我沒注意到的嗎？）→Time, wondrous time（時間啊 不可思議的時間）Gave me the blues and then purple-pink skies（給我了藍天 又將它變成紫粉色）And it's cool, baby, with me（而寶貝 我一點意見也沒有）這三段歌詞對時間發出了讚嘆，讚嘆著時間的推移讓彼此遇見、讓自己從過去的紛紛擾擾中到達現在的狀態，是我覺得副歌裡很用心的小巧思。另外我也很喜歡最後一段主歌說到Hell was the journey but it brought me heaven（這整個過程彷彿地獄 但他帶我到了天堂），我覺得這讓我對一切（不只是感情）感到更有力量，雖然很多事情在過程中跌跌撞撞，但最後會到達一個彷彿天堂的境界，所以不要怕自己現在好像蓬頭垢面、毫無成就，如果承過了這一切、繼續堅持下去，最後我們都會到達我們想要去的地方。
